- Assessed, none found. CISA's assessment recorded neither public exploit code nor evidence of exploitation when it was made.
- SSVC decision
- ExploitationnoneCISA recorded no public exploit code and no evidence of exploitation.
- AutomatableyesAn attacker can reliably automate reconnaissance through exploitation, so this scales.
- Technical ImpacttotalSuccessful exploitation gives total control of the vulnerable component.
- EPSS probability
- 0.52% probability of exploitation activity in the next 30 days.
- EPSS percentile
- Equal to or higher than the score of 44.3% of scored records. A rank, not a probability.
- NVD base score
- 9.3 (CVSS v4.0), scored by the NVD independently of the CNA.

Upgrade googleapis/mcp-toolbox to version 1.5.0 or later. Configure the security boundaries introduced in v1.5.0 by setting allowedLocalRoots to restrict host file system interactions strictly to designated, isolated directories set allowedBuckets to ensure the tool only reads from and writes to explicit, authorized Google Cloud Storage buckets. Follow the Principle of Least Privilege by running the Toolbox service under an unprivileged OS user account and restricting associated Google Cloud IAM permissions.
